Writing is a tool for thinking. Even when our writing feels disorganized or haphazard, as the words move from keyboard to screen (he he) we do this subconscious dance of reflect-type-reflect; type-reflect-reorganize thoughts; lather, rinse, repeat. It can be painful at times. But it forces us to get clear about something we were not totally clear about before attempting to write about it. You can't truly know yourself until you write!
