A Real Sneak Peek: The Evolution of OnlineBusinessManager.com

It's official folks, i'm no longer allowed to be lazy.

OnlineBusinessManager.com is staring to take shape as an "official" business, and i'm super excited to give you a bit of a sneak peek as to what's been going on.

I've been working online for a few years now, and there is one thing that i'm asked more often than anything else...

"Can I hire you to run my business?" or "How do I find a *you* to help me?"

And being only one person with a full plate already, I have to say no to almost everyone.

Till now...

A few months back I went out for dinner with the ever lovely and talented Andrea Lee (yes, we do actually leave our houses from time to time, LOL).

Chatting over our yummy vietnamese noodles it hit us... we need to start replicating ourselves. There is such a need out there to "hire us", so why not start creating a few more "us's"!

I have to admit, it was almost a bit of a duh! moment for me... as this has been staring me in the face for quite a while now. Timing is key though, as I honestly wasn't ready to take this step before now (I was busy being lazy remember?)

So here's the scoop... we have started to hire some awesome people to do what we do, and provide online business management and va support that so many of you need.

This is taking shape in a few different scenarios, depending on the needs of the client:

1. For six figure businesses who want to grow to seven figures, we are providing high end online business management. This is the "full meal deal" option, where we provide full strategic, operations and marketing management.

2. For in the five figure range or just getting started, we are providing Virtual Assistant services. So you can get the help you need, when you need it. We have established a soon to be announced partnership with a VA company fully versed and trained in the multiple streams business model, tools and concepts. VERY cool!

3. For those who need a project done, we will be offering "90 Day Packages". Want to create your one banana website? Or have someone create your pink spoon? Buy 'em as you need them.

Would love love love to hear your thoughts on this. Is this of interest to you? What kind of help do you need in the near future? Post your comments below.

And of course, stay tuned for the official announcements... I promise you will be the first to know. ;)

Hi Tina,

I love the 90-day package program. Those tend to work really well for me--clear, directed, creates a sense of urgency, and provides accountability--all the ingredients of a great coaching program!

Great! What kinds of 90-day packages would you be interested in?

This is just pure brilliance!

I was actually brainstorming ideas last night, and every one of them requires help from a VA, or coaching on the technical "how do I do that?" This kid short circuits without tech know how.

All 3 options are of interest to me, if not now, certainly as some of my projects develop.

You might add "brainstorming" sessions for ideas that need a simple "Yay" or "Nay"

Thanks t & a for holding the lantern high, I can see much further now.

YES! I need it - how soon can I get one of your clones? :D I'm having so much troubles trying to train my VA.

More specifically, I need someone who can do both the multiple stream model as well as the Chris Barrow model of business stuff. Do you have one of those?

You read my mind. I know I need a VA but have no idea where to find one that I can trust to "get" what I want done, especially in the msoci world.
Thanks for providing such a needed service. Can't wait to hear the details!

Cheers-
Lynne

I have more questions than I do feedback about your proposed concepts. For me they are too general to give feedback right now as to whether I would be interested.

I am curious about the 90 Day package for starters. Why specifically 90 days if the focus is on a single project? Projects can last under 90 days or over 90 days. I am not sure I understand this option and how it differs from a general project based arrangement.

I also don't see how your arrangements would be different than how most VA works anyway -- ie., retainer, long term or short term, project based, etc.

Also where will the accountability be? Will they actually work for you or is it more of an arrangement that you promote them and get a % or fixed fee? I have worked with multiple VAs over the last 18 months and often found it to be more work to *manage them* than than it was worth. They were skilled at what they did task wise but have found that their project management skills are usually lacking (which for me is a must to benefit from VA services).

While I think all this sounds great in theory, I have yet to find, from my experience, VAs beneficial in general practice. I personally would need to know more about how your VA program differs than my just going out and getting a VA on my own, and how your program would overcome some of the challenges I have mentioned above with VAs. I know I am not the only coach who has run into these challenges.

Look forward to hearing more details and hopefully my questions/concerns will be addressed then.

Hi Tina,
Of course, Tara and I are thrilled to know that you are "almost" in business. We have it in our business plan for this year, to get out of the rut of doing everything ourselves. This is the best news ever, because we know you and trust you already. You have been preparing and prepaving with your calm uniqueness. Oh, and...
Congratulations on your running accomplishments - way to go Tina!!
Talk soon,
Gwen
