We always called it the $300 club, but that's probably because we used it for both home and office. Once my husband and I went in to buy a birthday present for our son's friend, and we bought both the present and a canoe!

Tina, I'm in the process of redoing my main website, and your Costco post/lesson is an excellent reminder. It is so easy to have too many choices, leading to NO decision. I keep removing products and you've given the perfect reason why this is important.

Thanks for your insights. There is nothing better than learning from the best, whether that's you or Costco!

My sentiments exactly Tina -- I too am a Costcoholic! I just dropped my usual minimum of $200+ at Costco yesterday. Every time I go, I can reliably load up my cart with all the routine "healthy" stuff I need (blueberries, strawberries, bananas, salmon, avocados etc -- makes for a very colorful cart!) at a fraction of the price somewhere else.
Lesson for me = make sure to offer reliably helpful stuff that the audience will keep coming back for, and price it so that it's not painful to buy. That is where I am headed next with my offerings!
