I just tell them as I'm coming into the country that I'm there for business, I'm speaking at a seminar. They never question anything. That is really quite bizarre. I know hundreds of speakers from all around the world and none have ever been stopped from speaking at their own or others events in the US. If I had a US based company that was doing the training and brought me in as a speaker that would be fine (with limits around that as well.)
