The bulk of the recruitment process will be carried out in January 2012 by Tina Forsyth on behalf of Kendall SummerHawk.

Project Manager
The key objective of the Project Manager is to ensure that "stuff gets done" on time and to the high-standards of a fast-growing, multi 7-figure business. You are responsible for managing all projects and day-to-day activities of a very busy team and take pride in seeing projects through to completion, on time, accurately and in keeping with the company's branding, content quality and customer service standards.
Although the priority of this role is project management, the Project Manager will also be expected to act as a "doer" on a daily basis, helping to meet all deadlines and to also function as a backup to other team members where required. The role is approx. 50% managing and 50% doing.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple (and concurrent) projects from idea to execution, including the creation of a project plan and implementation of an online, centralized project management system.
- Delegate to various members of the team for completion of applicable tasks, setting priorities and ongoing follow-up as required.
- Implementation (doing) of applicable tasks within projects with an eye for detail and the ability to dive into the "nitty gritty" aspects of what needs to be done.
- Collaborate on creation of new products or programs — working with the team to organize and meet project milestones.
- Handle a large volume of email and requests on a daily basis and complete or delegate in a timely fashion.
- Diligently create and maintain a standard operating procedure or business training manual for the business.
- Create and maintain a weekly and monthly metrics tracking system.
- Create and manage all communications to coaching program clients, in addition to coordinating all program calls for our membership communities.
- Act as a Program Manager liaison to our clientele -- providing a high level of ongoing customer service in relation to program roll-outs, client inquiries and general relationship management.
- Reviewing website content and maintaining the accuracy of the client database and master call list for all membership and coaching programs.
- Managing the technology and function of all online forums for membership and coaching programs..
- Travel will be required 3 to 4 times a year, including Kendall's two yearly live events.
The Ideal Person for this role:
- Has at least 2 years of applicable on-line experience in one or more of the fields of marketing, ecommerce, programming, coaching, business management, project management, personal development or other related area of study, or equivalent.
- Loves nothing more than seeing a project or task completed and brought to life; driven to do whatever it takes to get the job done, including doing the work yourself.
- Thrives when working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and has the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to manage and prioritize minute by minute.
- Worked as a project manager (or had a key responsibility for project management as part of your role) in a fast-paced business environment with multiple ongoing projects and priorities.
- Familiar with and/or practically experienced in all facets of online business and the execution of:
Launch process and management
Copywriting
Product planning and creation
Product packaging
Traffic generation and list building
Conversion
- Understands advertising, affiliate programs and joint ventures; be able to hold and cultivate key relationships.
- A strong marketing mindset with the understanding of how your role and all decisions need to contribute to serving clients and the overall growth of the business.
- Being proactive is a requirement for this role; you must take initiative, be a driving force, have good decision making skills and the willingness to ask questions and make suggestions. (If you aren't willing to speak up this role isn't for you.)
- A good eye for design and understanding of the brand of Kendall SummerHawk and IAWBC and will ensure that each communication will represent that brand accurately and consistently.
- A stringent "designer's eye" for meeting brand requirements when reviewing webpages, videos and other materials.
- Experience with project management software and the ability to create project plans and run the full implementation of a project via online software (such as Central Desktop.)
- Strong understanding of 1ShoppingCart with the ability to send broadcasts, setup products and autoresponders and to act as a back-up for the Technical Assistant where required.
- Basic ability to work in HTML (WordPress & Dreamweaver) to make quick updates to webpages and to act as a back-up for the Technical Assistant where required.
- A strong customer service orientation with professional oral and written communication skills.
- Must have stellar communication skills and love being a part of a tight-knit team.
Commitment: This is a full-time, dedicated role (40 hours/week) requiring a long-term commitment with availability Monday to Friday during regular business hours (8am to 5pm pacific.) The successful applicant will start as a contractor for the company, and will become an employee after the initial 90-day trial period. Work on evenings and weekends will be required from time-to-time in order to meet deadlines, but is not expected as a standard for this role.
This is a virtually based position that requires you to have the equipment and capability to work from your own home office.
Note: Due to the nature of the position and the commitment required we are looking to hire an individual for this role vs. hiring a multi-person team.
Compensation: This position is starting at $4500 - $5000/month with the opportunity for an increase in pay after the initial 90-day period.
Anticipated start date is February 1, 2012.

Technical Assistant
The key objective of the Technical Assistant is to be an implementer; to apply your expertise and knowledge of various online systems in completing various tasks within a fast-growing, multi 7-figure business. You are responsible for completing all tasks that are assigned to you (project and ongoing tasks) in a timely manner and with a high level of accuracy.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Create web pages, opt-in pages and sales pages that match the brand requirements of Kendall SummerHawk and IAWBC.
- Create WordPress blog sites from inception to completion, including ongoing maintenance of blog sites.
- Manage and implement all aspects of 1ShoppingCart including affiliate programs, product creation, email broadcasting, running reports, and creating autoresponders. Need to be REALLY sharp here with an expert level understanding of 1ShoppingCart.
- Setup, manage and facilitate all aspects of webinars and teleseminars, including registration pages, bridgelines, autoresponders and all associated technical requirements.
- Setup and manage all aspects of membership technologies (i.e. Ning sites)
- Creation of videos from inception to completison, including managing the recording, editing, production and hosting.
- Able to produce CD, video and multi-media programs for creation of new products.
- Responsible for sending reminders, setting up classes and posting audio recordings on weekly basis for various coaching and membership programs.
- Basic understanding of programming to create custom forms such as online assessments, rsvp forms and surveys.
The Ideal Person for this role:
- Has at least 2 years of applicable on-line experience in the areas outlined above and is considered an expert in using online technology.
- Detail oriented with a perfectionist streak, a high level of accuracy is a must in this role.
- Driven to complete tasks in a timely manner, with the aim of having a clear to-do list at the end of each day.
- An expert user of 1ShoppingCart and WordPress, with a strong understanding of all that these programs offer and how they can be used "beyond basics" to meet various business goals.
- Strong HTML and Dreamweaver skills for creation of stand-alone webpages and to customize WordPress sites as required.
- Expertise in video creation, editing and production for professional online video..
- Also looking for a strong skillset in (or the ability to quickly learn) the following systems; Ning, Facebook, Vimeo, YouTube and Twitter.
- A stringent "designer's eye" for meeting brand requirements when creating webpages, videos and other materials.
- As the resident "technical guru" you will have the ability to quickly research and/or learn new technologies as required by the business. (You love to dig in and figure out how a program works.)
- Overall exceptional computer and technical skills, with a strong customer service orientation and professional oral and written communication skills.
Commitment: This is an ongoing contract position requiring a commitment of 25 hours/ week with availability Monday to Friday during regular business hours (8am to 5pm pacific.) Work on evenings and weekends will be required from time-to-time in order to meet deadlines, but is not expected as a standard for this role. Note that over time this role may develop into full-time work for the right candidate.
This is a virtually based position that requires you to have the equipment and capability to work from your own home office.
Due to the nature of the position and the commitment required we are looking to hire an individual for this role vs. hiring a multi-person team.
Compensation: This position is paying $35/hour on contract with a retainer of 25 hours/week.
Anticipated start date is February 1, 2012.

Content Creation Assistant
The key objective of the Content Creation Assistant is to support the busy business owner in the creation of new training program content, articles, handouts and more. You are responsible for taking new ideas and drafting detailed, step by step training materials, including course content, exercises, scripts, checklists, templates, course titles and accompanying articles that highlight the training programs. Additionally, you are responsible for coordinating the creation of these training programs and take pride in seeing these projects through to completion, on time, accurately and in keeping with the company's branding, content quality and customer service standards.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple (and concurrent) content creation projects from idea to execution, with a focus on the timely implementation of each project.
- Collaborate with Business Owner (and other team members where needed) on content ideas, including creating core training content, exercises, handouts, scripts, etc.
- Implementation (doing) of applicable tasks within projects with an eye for detail and the ability to dive into the "nitty gritty" aspects of what needs to be done.
- Oversee and collaborate on creation of training program branding, logos and print materials— working with the team to organize and meet project milestones.
- Oversee and collaborate on completing each project in accordance with the marketing launch timeframe.
- Drafting website content as it relates to each training program, and in addition, proof reading and suggesting edits on final website copy.
- Drafting articles that relate to each training program, and to the overall branding and direction of the business, including writing articles in the “voice” of the business owner.
- Proactively looking for and suggesting new topics and ideas for training programs.
- Travel will be required 3 to 4 times a year, including Kendall's two yearly live events.
The Ideal Person for this role:
- Has at least 2 years of applicable experience in one or more of the fields of marketing, training, coaching, content design, delivering course content, project management, personal development or other related area of study, or equivalent.
- Loves nothing more than seeing an idea transformed into a marketable training program and brought to life; driven to do whatever it takes to get the job done, including doing the work yourself.
- Thrives when working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment and has the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to manage and prioritize minute by minute.
- Worked as a entrepreneur and understands the basics of marketing, including niche, pricing, client attraction strategies, online marketing, branding, etc.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate through the written word. (If you don't like writing this is not the position for you!)
- Familiar with and/or practically experienced in delivery of training programs, via workshops, teleseminars, webinars.
- Familiar with and/or practically experienced in the production and delivery of print and online training material.
- Understands the creative process and is able to harness that into detailed, step by step training material.
- A strong marketing mindset with the understanding of how your role and all decisions need to contribute to serving clients and the overall growth of the business.
