The Never-Ending Webpage!

This annoys the heck out of me... the never ending salespage.

Case in point: An upcoming Internet Seminar...

Do people actually read pages this long? Maybe im the minority here, but this page just totally strikes me as an oversell... its like "you had me at hello, and now im on my way to goodbye" as I keep reading.

There's faces all over the place, oodles of promises, big fat bonuses coming out the ole wazoo... Urgh!

Im all for the sales letter approach to websites, it is the way to go. But can't we just keep them simple & short(er)?

Then again, I am a simpleton here... so part of this is definintely about my preference.

Curious - do any of you actually read long sales pages such as the one above?

I have to wonder if they could have accomplished the same result with a shorter page? Do people actually *not* buy because the page is too long?

Hmmmm.... open to your thoughts, feel free to comment.
